I think they have made a mistake on their website. The Contributory Aged Parent visa is two years from the grant date not a normal CPV. I have reported the mistake and hopefully they will fix it soon. It is causing so much confusion!!

Hi Val Is that what the old visa label says? If so, i might consider getting a label done to avoid confusion. These visa grant letters are very confusing at the moment.

I was so confused yesterday on the same issue!!! see my thread: http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/213042-urgent-cpv-173-holders-please-come.html Looks like i should just ignore the visa grant date and take the initial entry date as the start date. Do you know whats the length of the medicare card they will first grant you when you initially enter the country? Thanks
