Hi guys just filling in an app for my mum and it asks for visa numbers of past visits, is this the TRN number or something else? It's the only 10 digit thing we have on the visa grant notice, or am i missing the point - is it the visa type? Cheers!

Hi Hope someone can help, my mums visa is valid until 13th November, as in she must not arrive after that date, she has a 6 month stay from that date. However, when I checked the VEVO site, it said her via expires on 12th Feb. She's already in Oz and was thinking of going to Bali for a couple of days then come back to get the extra time. I just wanted to know if she would have 6 months from the date that she re-enters, or if its until 12th Feb... Thanks! L

hi guys, just after a bit of advice. My mum is 69 and wants to live in oz permanently. Both me and my sister live here have been for over 3 years. What are the visa options available to her now and how much will they cost? thanks!

...as an aside, myself and my sister are her only close family relatives left and we are both in australia, her brother lives about 100 miles from her and her other brother in america. they are both 70+ would she be eligible for the remaining relative visa?

hi everyone just wanted to cover something off. we want ideally to my mum to apply for the non-contributory visa before it ends in June, however she might not be able to make it back to Oz in time (she is selling her house and its dragging on). I had heard that being onshore made your application quicker - is this true? Has anyone had experience of this either way? We meet the balance of family test and the other requirements for this... Also, if she applies offshore for the non-contributory one, will she still be able to get a temporary/bridging visa to come as a tourist? Many thanks! L
