Another questions! Has anyone sponsored a parent without being settled in Aus for 2 years. I am Aus citizen living in the UK but are planning to move back for good to sponsor my parents as soon as we settle.

Has anyone had any experience changing to the 143 after getting the 173? Do we have to make a fresh application as if we've never applied before and serve the same waiting period? Thanks!!!

Always thought the waiting time is about 12 months. I applied for my parents on the 173 visa and waited a bit under 12 months back in 2012.
