  1. i do not know how many times..but it just too half a year for them to clear it and give me a result... they have only asked me to seek expert report once.... i think if you are under medication like me..it means ur virus level is up to a certain level...n dey r judging by this..... i think the use of a migration agent is wise because the experienced ones can tell you what you might expect in your case and you will be prepared ...at least...
  2. hey....im spouse of an applicant who works in the hospital.......i was not a secondary applicant and yet my medicals are still required and it almost made his visa rejected.. they would make u wait very long and the last reply would ask you if you got any appeals or supplementary info to provide for your situation or else they would give u a decision in 28 days... which is a very negative reply....i divorced my partner..n his PR got granted immediately.....I guess if i insisted it would jeopardize his visa... my condition is diagnosed long ago n the medical expense fully supported by my own government...but they are still judging my case as a negative one....btw..im under viread..a pill each day...liver functions very normal...
  3. anyone who has partner visa granted has medical conditions?????? I have certain medical conditions......and am worried if my partner visa might be rejected.................... I totally cannot accept this as I am marrying a citizen....but not ALLOWED into the country because of my so-called medical condition which is now fully supported by my own government..........:arghh:!??!?!? anyone can share her experience!?
  4. hey Shanshui..I think i am kind of experiencing what you are going through now. But I am worse, I am under medication which is fully supported by the government my medicals have neem referred before and took more than half a year to clear...the decision is also negative...the aussie governemnt said my medical result is negative... but i wasn't applying as a main applicant by then....i think u might be prepared that this might take some time if you are dealing with it by yourself..it would be worth using a migration agent..im gonna do dat too in the near future...no more fuzz....... just contacted george lombard...its a firm in summer hill NSW..just google the name and u can get his address
  5. hi all...im a physio...holding portuguese passport...application of 885 visa lodged in July 2012. CO allocated in Oct 2012. Asked for medicals in Dec 2012..mine provided and my wife is overseas in Hong Kong...she completed her checks but were then required to provide further reports by specialists (which I guess is what you have been referring as "medicals referred"?)...further medicals submitted in Jan 2012 and have been waiting until now..CO said theres backlog for MOC to finalize overseas medicals...so...still...no news.....its been 16 months...almost 18 months..but it says on immi website that it should take less than 18 months...have been trying to contact the CO or the dept but only received standard replies... any ways to get into contact with CO? my wife got some problems with her travel visa just last month...consulate in Hong Kong rejected to grant her a travel visa because it says on system dat her PR medicals are not ok..after a lot of checking and verification..finally cleared to grant her a travel visa to just come n visit me...i guess they are still on the original medicals and not touch the specialist reports yet..dis is why her results are still pending as commented by CO....if her medical condition is determined as serious threads to Aus..i guess she won't be granted temp residency before...CO or MOC should be deciding?!??!? any similar cases?? this travel visa issue is the only thing that can trigger MOC to clear meds for her travel visa and also maybe alert CO a bit the existence of my case.....
