Anyone got any ideas on the best route for training/passing Australian exams. I have about 3 months to go before we move over. I am ready to take 17th edition here in the UK. It don't see the point in forking out a load of. Cash when the qualification means nothing there. Has anyone on here trained in Australia and have any advice. Many thanks Rob

Getting hand tools free of rust oil and grease. How are you supposed to do that. I'm planning on taking all my tools. Etc. Sockets engineering tools drills taps dies squares etc hand tools and some power tools. Probably going to split them all up between the family's baggage on the flight. Are they going to make me open all our bags and confiscate all tools that have some rust spots,grease on them? Rob

Hello Moving over in spring next year on a spouse visa. Wife as my sponsor. I will Be looking for work as a marine mechanic. Dealt with outboards all makes. Diesel engines. Generators etc. Dc wireing plumbing electronics. Raymarine simrad. Etc. Installation of all mentioned servicing fault finding etc etc. I have. No formal qualifications but a few trade ones. Just wondering if anyone out there has any ideas if im going to have any issues when applying for work in Queensland. I have been looking at Jobs that i would.Be suitable for. Some are asking for experience only other are asking for qualified people. Any ideas on what the qualifications are? Thanks to anyone that can help. Rob
