  1. I sat the exam 3 times, so I understand you (( Spend some lessons wth a tutor and if possible, sit the exam in another country where English in not native. I think chances of getting a higher score in writing would be much higher as your essay will stand out.
  2. Thanks a lot to everyone. I have a question re documents that are not mandatory, as it's stated on the AIM application form "If possible include letters of appointment and/or promotion, payslips, company reports and any other relevant documents." Did you provide any of these documents and if not, did AIM requested them during the assessment process? Thanks Irina
  3. Hey I am also gathering documents for the AIM assessment. 3FatCats, can you please tell which documents AIM needed besides org.charts and position descriptions?
  4. Yes, thats true. When I submitted my application I also selected VAT free price, didnt provide evidence and I was ok - the application went through, no questions followed. I live in Europe.
  5. Thanks Adam, I will look closer at the employer sponsorship route.
  6. Thank you Rupert. What is a duration in semesters or years of full-study Diploma education in Australia? Swinburne Uni shows that its only 6 months. Is that true? My Diploma was 3 full years.
  7. Thank you Lou. I know, I am also not sure re diploma. It was the prerequisite for my Masters so I thought that there might be a chance for positive assessment. I am more interested in whether its possible to get a 189/190 visa without any relevant experience? Does anyone know?
  8. Hi all, I have recently received a positive outcome from Vetassess re project administrator occupation. The irony is that it was taken off from state sponsorship list while my papers were under assessment, so I don't have anything to do with it. Very sad! I'm trying to figure out any other possible route.... I have a Diploma in Accounting, completed in 2001 but don't have any solid work experience as an accountant. As I understand assessment criteria, they are an education at the required level, 9 out 12 mandatory subjects and academic IELTS. Is that correct that they don't require work experience for the assessment? And if I get a positive skill assessment, will I be eligible for 189 visa not having any work experience as an accountant? (I can possibly get 60 points without any work experience, so 0 points for work experience won't be an issue). Thank you so much in advance
  9. Thank you, Claire. If I were you, I would write to SA and ask them to sponsor you. Who knows, it may work out and you don't lose anything anyway. Good luck to us both Irina
  10. Hi Claire, Congratulations! I also got my positive results re 511112 this week, so feel exactly the same. As English isn't my first language, I don't believe that employer sponsorship route works out for me. 511112 is on ACT off-list though, so if you have relatives there you might try that. Another thing is to try getting a job offer from ACT, its also one of the criteria. Honestly I feel really lost: many months' work went down the drain , thinking even about another assessment
  11. Congratulations!! Did AIM request any additional information or contact the employer?
  12. ( Sorry to hear Kezzles Is there any similar occupation that doesnt require Bachelor level? Have the officer said what level your degree is equivavalent to?
  13. I have checked my mail correspondence with CO: I only filled in forms 26 and 160 and did medicals. Seems I didnt upload anything.
