Hi We have been allocated a case officer and have one outstanding issue... My partner has an estranged son for whom he has no parental responsibility and therefore no rights to decide where he lives - yet immigration are asking for the child to have a medical. We have no contact details for the child or the mother so it is not possible to ask her permission to organise this and even if it were she would refuse. Does anyone have any advice - would it be sufficient to get a solicitor to write a letter to immigration explaining that as the child was born before Dec 2003 and my partner was never married to the mother that he has no parental responsibility and therefore no rights as a parent? Any help would be much appreciated as this is the final obstacle we need to get around before we get our visas Thank you

Hi Thanks for all your help. Did you have to.prove that you reported directly to the Owner or CEO? I am a Senior Manage with four Managers reporting into me who have their own teams reporting into them. I report into the Sales Director not the CEO as I work for a large global company where only Directors report into the CEO... Thanks again Zoe

Hi Has anybody on this site passed the AIM skills assessment for Sales & Marketing Manager? If so did you use a migration agent as I am considering doing so as it seems so difficult to pass this even though I have had over 10 years experience. Thanks Zoe
