  1. Nah I didn’t need to do medicals again. I know my MA sent an email to follow up 2 weeks ago on my case which they rejected the claim to process, so it was definitely a surprise when I got a phone call today. My advice is keep nagging if your file is 12m+ old
  2. Hey guys I’ve been spying this thread for the last 15 months. Today my migration lawyer called me to advise me that my PR has been granted ! Market Research Analyst Nomination applied on 17/09/2016 Visa applied on 17/10/2016 nomination and visa granted 01/12/2017 Absolutely ecstatic!! Positive thoughts to all those that have been waiting for 12 months + I really wish and sincerely hope that good news will come very soon!!
  3. Hey guys, my nomination transfer has been approved. I can start working for my employer immediately! Took 7 weeks + 1 day in total. Lodged on the 17th of December. Good luck everyone!!! IT WILL COME
  4. Congrats!!! Did you submit your nomination at the same time? How long did it take for it to be approved?
  5. Hey Sath, I believe it's still getting finalised as you lodged two applications the same time. Nevertheless, it sounds very promising that they've already been in touch with your employer.
  6. Good Luck Sath! can I ask when your nomination was submitted and how long did it for it to be approved? Thanks
  7. My company is. I really don't think is making much of a difference. Have you tried emailing them? This is getting ridiculous.
  8. Any update JMO?! It should be finalised this week!! fingers crossed for you!
  9. I feel your pain, I'm 3 weeks overdue from my start date :-( it's getting really awkward
  10. Sigh nothing either!! does anyone know if they have started processing mid December applications?
  11. Just to clarify... Nomination could take up to 3 months? My understanding it that it should be between 4 - 8 weeks. If it's in process then it should be approved anytime - within the next few days - Good luck!
  12. I'm so sorry to hear that Junejat :(Have you spoken to another MA to see what your other options are?
  13. Hey Rachielle, are you applying onshore or offshore?
  14. Has anyone got any updates? Tomorrow it will be exactly 6 weeks for me...
  15. Fingers crossed.. MA said it might be another 2 weeks ... Nothing worse than waiting to start your new job >.<
  16. My company applied for nomination transfer on the 17th of December as I already hold a visa from my previous employer. Last Friday, their MA submitted an URGENT request requesting my appointment to be done asap. My manager is getting impatient with the whole process (HR screwed up, and she was led to believe that I was supposed to start on the 11th) I have not started working there yet but I have been informally 'meeting and greeting' with all my team members and stakeholders, and it has been really awkward. I feeling extremely anxious about my situation as there are terms on my contract that stipulates that if the sponsorship transfer is not finalised for whatever reason by the 29th of Jan (originally it was the 15th, but HR extended it), the agreement will automatically terminate.
  17. Thanks for feedback Chortlepuss. I work in Analytics so we don't really have a target! However, our skills are in demand in our industry and the business is becoming to focus on being data driven, so hopefully that would work in my favour. In terms of performance, I definitely feel that I have lifted my games especially with the increase in workload in the last 12 months. Will definitely keep you posted and let you know how I go
  18. I was headhunted so I would assume so. There are industry figures but the spectrum is quite broad. I'm still kicking myself for being too honest about my salary question :arghh: But I guess experience counts right... I've never done anything like this before. Can you provide me with examples on how I can approach it in a constructive manner without coming across pushy?
