  1. Hi Genie, that is great news. Which part of Adelaide are you moving to? We have our Visa's and will be moving to Adelaide in the next 4 to 5 months. We still have to go through the goodbye stage, which will be hard. But it will all be worth it. Hope everything goes well in Adelaide. Kind Regards Maureen
  2. Our house has been on the market for over 12 months, we have even change estate agents. We received an offer on our house, which was really low but we managed to negotiate and agreed an acceptable offer. We even instructed Solicitors, and then found out our potential buyers were struggling to raise the funds. We are now in limbo as we are in the latter stages of getting our visa's finalised, and hoping our buyers come up with funds so we can move to Adelaide to be near our daughter and grandchildren. Fingers crossed.
  3. Hi, We are in the final stages of the Visa 143 application, but it is the AOS and Centre Link which is taking the longest. My son in law is self employed and Centre Link gave them incorrect information. So I have copied the information we received from our Visa Agent re: income and hope it might be helpful for anyone who is nearing this stage of their applications. 4. Hi Mmant We have been given the date of the 19 September to provide DIAC with an update as to the progress we have made with our medicals/CRB checks & assurer. Once I know any thing else I will let you know. Maureen.
  5. Our CPV 143 was acknowledged on 24 May 2012, and the email we received from DIAC was last week 22 August, to arrange our medicals, CRB check and to forward the letter to our assurer. We also have to fill out form 80. It could be that DIAC have changed the way they process the CPV 143 visa, which seems a lot better than being left in limbo and waiting 15 months to be contacted. Good luck with your Visa, we are hoping ours will be sorted in the next few months.
  6. Our application for the 143 Visa was acknowledge on 24/5/2012, and we have today received notification that we have a Case Officer. Now it all begins after 15 months of waiting.
  7. Hi Kath, I have a feeling the fees have been increased due to the weak dollar, and the exchange rate. Maureen
