Hi I agree with Alant getting your CIMA/ACCA would be a better move. If you do decide the Uni route I would check out CPA website and see which Uni's and courses they automatically recognize other wise you will have to send uni syllabus off to the assessing body you choose Tracy

Hi just had horrible thought we arrive in melbourne on Thursday and will have 8 suitcases 2 children and hand luggage has anyone any tips on getting this lot through to arrivals with the out loosing any children or my sanity

Thanks that is what I am hoping I was going to take a bag full of food for them anyway it is one way of keeping them quite for 10 mins

They are nearly 4 and 5 so stressing about keeping them entertained as well but that will be harder if they are hungry as well

65 points will get you in on the next round but you need to work out which will be quicker and cheap I think getting reassessed as an external auditor ring london and they will tell you ever thing you need to know

Just out of interest how many points have you got if you can get 60 points without work experience then you should be fine

Hi Your work experience Will only start to count when you complete your final exam so you would be starting from scratch once you have passed the exam just the same as if you went under external auditor Also I have copied the below statement from CPA Australia which sounds like you would not have to pay to be reassessed under a different code I found Tarisa in london very helpful with any questions I had phone number is 44 20 7240 8266 If you have already received your assessment result and subsequently decide to change your nominated occupation, you may return the original assessment to CPA Australia with a written request for amendment. A new assessment will be conducted under the criteria relevant to your new ANZSCO code. Hope this helps Tracy

Hi for your qualification did you do auditing if so the external auditing does not need accounting theory as mandatory and since if you are going to have to take a exam you will have no work experience this is a way round your problem
