20 days until we land in Australia . Scary & excited .

How's things going now ? Are you enjoying your job ?

Eeeekkkkk 31 days and counting . Very excited but so nervous at the same time .........

We were originally heading to southern Brisbane too , oxenford, Labrador , coomera , but now my husband has seen jobs ( in his trade) advertised for the northern suburbs . We have 3 week rental on our arrival ( end of April ) but no work lined up .....starting to get very nervous !! Our belongings went last week with Crown Relocations.

Just wondering where all the rest of us 189 August people are in there quest to OZ , we have sold our house, crown relocations coming in the morning to pack our belongings & flights booked for the end of April , after all the stress and planning I can't believe it's all coming together . Fingers crossed it all works out

What are everyone's views on the schools in Helensvale ?

So far so good . Hopefully sold the house . When that is completed I'm sure everything will fall in to place . I don't think we are taking our dog now - it will be heartbreaking but we need to be practical !!! Have you got any job offers / interest yet ?

HI, Thank you for your post. I'm in two minds what will be best for my Boxer girl, we have had her 15 months ( she is approx. 3yrs)and love her to bits but just don't know if the whole ordeal will be too stressful? how do they cope with the heat, quarantine etc ... We will be going over without jobs also we wont have the luxury of a dog walker a day ( whilst we are at work) so I don't know what would be the best option for both our dog and us.

Thank you , still can't believe we have finally got it - still need to sell the house & the dog is coming so we can't go until the end of April . But finally we can start planning instead of dreaming

Finally got the call from the vets - all good !! Finally we can make the arrangements !

Hoping to get out there April / May .when r u going ? I agree with you on the whole on shore job prospect , a friend moved to Sydney this year & struggled to secure anything off shore but had no problems once he arrived .

Do you know when your ( dogs) bloods are due back ? My dog had hers taken a week ago today & I'm still waiting ....

We will be going there without jobs and just praying that we get lucky , had our medicals today & the radiographer said we were brave , I said either that of crazy . But the whole thing is one huge gamble . So massive fingers crossed it works out for all of us !!

Just to jump on the band wagon ( not got visa yet tho) we are hoping to get to the Gold Coast .
