I got Indian PCC from Indian High Commission. It took one month for my case.I consider myself lucky in this case.High Commission people told me it might take 1 year or more to get clearance from the place i stayed in india. but in the website, 120 days is mentioned for getting PCC. Best of luck.

I have received the grant letter just now from my agent. It has been issued on 29th April, 2013. Just pray for my family. Hope u all will also hear the good news soon.

My CO appointed on 7th January, 2013. The problem is My CO will not contact me directly since I applied through an agent. Even I can’t see the progress of my application coz my agent didn’t provide me the password. So, every day I am looking for an email or phone call from my agent. That’s what only I can do. Thank u very much for ur well thought elaboration about the matter. I thought I was the only person who did the mistake by the influence of my agent. I think u have done a research on it before applying for 489. But anyway, it doesn’t seem to me that 489 is faster than 190. I have done PCC and Meds by the end of Jan’13 and 3 months have gone ….. and still waiting for the decision………. Anyway, hopefully we all will be rewarded for our patience. Good luck, dear friends.

Hi, Any Update? Could u pls tell me, how much points do u have with ur application?I need to know it because one of my colleague will submit EOI. he has 55 points. He is confused whether he will go for 10 points of 489 or 5 points for 190. Both need at least 60 points. Is there any priority with higher points? I applied for 489 with 65 points with 10 from SS SA. I am suggesting him to apply for 190. I think i did a mistake in applying for 489. whats ur opinion?

CO allocation Within 5 weeks as mentioned in the website. You are in the priority group 3.
