i read this post & some of your others & you remind me of me. i happily moved to oz but didnt settle. i was miserable & made everyone around me miserable to. went back to uk but didnt settle & felt like a total failure. realised i spent my time in oz looking for faults instead of enjoying the differences. back in oz now & happy as. only difference is my attitude. good luck whatever you do but dont be surprised when you realise the problem is you & not oz or the uk.

i ping ponged but coming back to oz was the best thing i could of done. just wish id stayed the fist time & saved the money:twitcy:

just saying i am far from wealthy but just bought a house at the seaside in nsw so it is possible. i do a lot more outdoors in oz and dont hide indoors in summer.

the houses are bigger and better designed for family living and you can have a garden if you want one forgot to mention my favourite thing about oz houses is they have utility rooms

my ozzie husband sent me for driving lessons. said i was driving to the wrong countries driving rules and that i was dangerous. i was pretty insulted until I had a lesson and the instructor told me all the little things i was doing wrong that could of caused a accident.

that must of been tough to get over at her age.

im married to a ozzie as well and i ping ponged and dragged him with me poor guy. but this time round im settled and happy in oz. sometimes you have to go home to find out where you really want to be.

Its cactus for when something is broken and cant be repaired.
