  1. Thanks so much...yes its a great worry I have cried today also as now the VAC payment has become an issue unexpectedly... does anyone know how long you get to pay this....as we will have to sell mum and dads house now to pay for this and dont know whether to try and sell and risk them not getting here or risk losing visa if granted as we wont have the funds until house sold ..... ooooo tears again
  2. Hello All New here but like many others I am looking for some support and advice. I have applied for a 173 visa for my parents acknowledged date January 2012 so 12 months in so far...hoping by the look of things that a CO should be allocated soon (within 2 months)...the only potential concern I have for their application is the medical....and wondered if anyone has had similar history and any advice as we are all very anxious to maximise their chance of getting here? Dad: 70yrs, Self caring, active and able. Type 2 Diabetes, High Blood pressure, low mood (since my sister and I left ;-)6 years ago) Mum: 67yrs, Self caring, active and able, Type 2 Diabetes, Underactive thyroid, Breast cancer 4 years ago (caught early and not spread treated with Radiotherapy and Tamoxifen only) Dad:Medications: Blood pressure, diabetes pills, small anti-depressant, cholesterol tablets Mum: Diabetes pills, Thyroxine, Tamoxifen (1yr left of this for breast cancer) So has anyone had these or know of anyone who has and how it was dealt with through medical... I myself omitted a little medical information on my visa application and it was never noted (nothing serious) and wonder whether getting my parents medications reviewed and reduced where possible may help their cause... Sorry for the long winded explanation ....just really really really want them to get through...so hope you forgive me Thanks in anticipation of any feedback
