  1. Yes, we still talk about the pedestrian crossings too, two years on........!!
  2. I don't know, sorry, but hopefully someone on here can help......
  3. Don't worry about it - I had to double-write my Welsh text, as auto correct and predictive text was playing havoc with it!
  4. Da iawn am ddysgu Cymraeg! (Well done for learning Welsh!). Definitely honorary Welsh!
  5. Dydd Gwyl Dewi hapus !
  6. No, you won't need to get your skills assessed by AITSL. Good luck with it all!
  7. Hi all, Yes, Primary School Teacher 241213 is still on the CSOL, towards the bottom of the list. I think the main problem is the fact that it is on the CSOL means that you need state sponsorship. Only a few states have it on their lists, and all but one (Victoria) need you to have a job offer. Victoria needs you to be able to teach certain languages. Hope this helps!

    First steps

If you let us know what your jobs are, people on here will certainly help with advice. Below are the links to the SOL (Skilled Occupation List) and the CSOL (Consolidated Skilled Occupation List)...... http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/pdf/sol.pdf http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/pdf/csol.pdf
  9. Pedestrian crossings sound like you're counting down to a race, and you feel as if you have to walk really fast when the green man shows, as the bleeps are so manic!......... Great fun! Found a clip of one on YouTube, so will try to put a link below......
  10. We parked in north NSW once, and drove nose-in. Someone came up and pointed out that you had to reverse in (which the signpost said, to be fair), so we had to re-park. As we walked along the road, we watched three people reverse into parking bays, and crash into the sign posts, which were really close to the kerb.........!!
