Thought it would go beyond Easter, but email just came in. All of a sudden, my stress is all gone!!!!!!!!! All the best to everyone of you out there.... enjoyed every thread reading them under stress and didn't realise that I would be the one posting it too soooooooooon:) (endless wait)
  2. Congrats TacoTruck!!!! Could you please post your Visa Stream and Industry (Eg Accountant, IT etc)
  3. One more with CO allocated and waiting on decision I was allocated a CO yesterday, here are my dates: Nomination approved 2-feb Application DRC with MA lodged : 30-jul Akn letter received : 11-sep Parramatta center. Now waiting...
  4. Yeah, couple of them did.... see below, just copied some stuff over Applied :30-Jul (DRC with MA, nomination approved early this year) AKN letter: 11- Sep (6 weeks) CO: 20-Nov (10 weeks) PR granted: 26-Nov (1 week) Total of 16-17 weeks
  5. Good News for DRCs lodged Post July.... read on other blogs that applications are being allocated to COs and couple of then got PRs as well this week. Wishing things will move for NON DRCs as well:))))
  6. I am on the same boat as well, NON - DRC application, 7 weeks since I have received application acknowledgement, wait on for Case Officer allocation:) Just waiting for decision to take a good break, stacked up all my annual leaves for this:)
  7. This is from the Auto Response email last week. A system upgrade is scheduled for 23 November which will automate the processing of acknowledgement letters, bridging visas and the entry of applications into VEVO. My assumption is, it will basically reduce the manual effort of keying applications into their system, I hope they can now focus on finalising applications:)
  8. Much awaited system upgrade was done over weekend, any good news or positive results from that?. I haven't seen anyone posting that they have received Acknowledgement letters or so.... Hope things went well.
  9. Yeah, my posts were all about Non - Drc applications. DRC ones are currently taking 8 -12 weeks I guess to get final decision.
  10. Oh ok, thanks for that. When was your Nomination lodged?. My nomination was lodged in March and took 5 months to get approval. So, I lodged my application in Aug and its been almost 3 months now.
  11. this is usually on their Auto Response email. You will receive this when you send them an email. According to last week, Parramatta is now processing applications received as of May 16th.
  12. Just wondering about timeline to get a CO allocated after receiving Visa application Acknowledgement letter. I received mine 3 weeks back without CO details on it. Anyone on same boat?. NON - DRC.
  13. This is bit interesting, was that Nomination and Application lodged on 9th Jan?. Looking at the time frames above this post, you should have acknowledgement letters and CO assigned by now. If not follow up by giving a call to Dept directly.
  14. Thats something to do with your browser. I have had same issues in the past. Probably use Chrome without blocking pop ups. Hope this helps.
  15. Yeah, I hav to do medicals now. My TRN number is active now. Not sure how long it's gonna take for CO to be allocated.
  16. Finally after 2 months, I got my Visa Acknowledgement letter, but with my daughter's name missing on Visa application Summary. hence, its of no use as i can't go for medicals or apply for medicare. But atleast something has moved and another waiting phase begins until CO is assigned.
  17. "Application received" status will never change, the system which we login will not get updated even after getting PR. I was told that they will manually keyin the data on to their system and you will receive email once submitted on machine. The evisa status will remain same forever.
  18. DRC is still a priority and expected to take 10-12 weeks instead of 8 weeks as mentioned. The above dates are for NON-DRC applications.
  19. Hope this helps.... this was last update from Sep 3rd, I received from DIAC last week. The following is provided as a general answer to this enquiry. The ENS and RSMS processing network is currently allocating applications to case officers for assessment as per the following table: Parramatta Processing Centre - ENS cases which were received on 11 April 2012 Parramatta Processing Centre - RSMS cases which were received on 26 March 2012 Melbourne Processing Centre - ENS cases which were received on 2 December 2011. Melbourne Processing Centre - RSMS cases which were received on 16 December 2011. The Perth Processing Centre - ENS cases which were received on 21 May 2012. The Perth Processing Centre RSMS cases which were received on 27 January 2012.
  20. I got my nomination Approved on Aug 14th and lodged my visa Application on Aug 15th. I haven't even received my Acknowledgement letter yet. Answer is, it will take couple of months if its NOT Decision Ready.
