Hello there. We have been in contact with DeVere Group to discuss transfering my husband’s pension which is in UK. He is 50 and not able to access it yet but DeVere suggests transferring it to Self Invested Personal Pension. They allow withdrawing 25 percent of funds when 55. Has onyone dealt with them at all and happy or should we avoid?

Hi Soozy B, I am in a same situation really. We are heading to Sydney on few first days of January and need to start looking for a job. However when you send your cv-s, agencies actually want to see you and speak to you, so until you are actually there, there is nothing they can do. Hope you find job easily. Hope I find a job in a first month. Melbourne was actually our first choice in terms of location, however my partner was offered a job in Sydney, so Sydney it is then Good Luck! Kairi

Hi guys! Just a quick question for those who have applied private health insurance with IMAN. How long did it take to receive a insurance certificate? We have submitted ours on 15/10 and today, 5 days later still nothing. Our agent said that we would get the certificate in 2 working days. Just a bit annoying when trying to move further with the visa application and waiting for it to be granted. :confused:

My hubby is a mechanic and would need to take his Snap on tool box over to Sydney. He hasn't actually weighed the tool box yet, but reckons around 100 kg. Has anyone sent their toolbox to Oz through air freight this year? Which company did you use and what was the cost?
