Positive skills assessment (second time around) absolutely buzzing!!!! how hard are the next steps in the process? I think it's more around being able to argue for and against mine was about young people having mobile phones from a younger age - I gave pros and cons for both which ensured I passed

Hi, my family and I (wife, 2 children aged 1 and 3) are still in the application stage but would really appreciate any advice whatsoever about moving to Perth. i will be looking for work in the substance misuse field - any specific advice on this would be great also keen to know, any recommendations for places to settle? Hello, Exciting post to read. We are still at the skills assessment stage and will be looking to migrate to Perth hopefully next year. Have you had any advice on areas to settle and/or avoid? What is the qualification in? I gained an Australian Diploma in management via this route - i had to complete a couple of assignments (about 1000 words each) to cover all of the bases I used a company called Academy 3 - they are based in hobart and were fantastic in getting back to me Hopefully this may be of some help to you?

I had seen this site and told me agent about it as it suggusts that an NVQ 3 is equivalent to an Aussie diploma (which it isnt) I had a look at the link you posted but at the moment my agent is looking into the qualification i need to pass the skills assessment - they had advised me to submit with what i currently have and seemed confident it would pass but that didnt happen!

Thanks for that, VETASSESS had replied with some feedback stating that an equivalent needs to be in excess of 36 credits - but they were not clear about at what level. I'm pretty sure the ILM Level 5 would be strong enough but speed is of the essence now as I want to submit an application before the jobs list is reviewed Scared to death that by the time i receive my qualification my job may be removed from the list

Hello, My skills assessment for a community worker hasnt met VETASSES standards. However, my qualifications meet the australian standard for being able to apply for the relevant jobs Is there another avenue I could take in order to get a visa?

Hello, I have just had an unsuccessful skills assessment verdict when applying for the role of community worker It has surprised me as there hasnt been any feedback....yet I have the Tackling Substance Misuse award and, after looking at the australian equivalent, my qualification meets all of the criteria needed to practice in this field Is it possible there has been an oversight in the skills assessment?
