Hi Nosferatu, I hope so! I applied for a 175 visa in June 2012 and meds were refereed in March! It's been a long and stressful journey and I hope it ends soon with the magic call

Congrats to those that got their grants... Well made up for you. On a personal front my 4 year old sons medicals were cleared today which means all of us have meds finalised. Does anyone know how long it takes from here to getting a grant?

We're planning on Sydney and hoping to go at the tail end of this year if all works out. I'd love to go to Perth but unfortunately we have a better chance of employment in Sydeny. Oh and the wife has family there! :skeptical:

He was referred on March 18th, not sure what he was referred for as he has no history and as he's under 5 he only did the usual checks I.e. height/weight. when we spoke to the doctors they said he was a grade A - I'm hoping its just routine

Barnsey10 I feel your pain... I've got a 4 year old with a grade A medical who has been referred over 6 weeks and we've all been finalised... So close yet so far! Let me know how you get on.

Hi Blossom79 - thank you for the reply. Thing is he has no history which is why we got slightly nervous. If you don't mind me asking how long did his referral take?

Hi, we did our meds on Feb 16th and my youngest sons results were sent on the same day as he is only 3.5 years old. Mine, my wife's and my eldest sons were sent the week after and finalised on the 25th. However my youngest sons have been referred. I've contacted my CO who hasn't responded. Is this normal? He was graded at level A and has no history at all.

Thanks bubbe2005, thanks for the response and ill check out the link. Yes they have done some work but they advised me I would get points for an ACS RPL which is not the case. I have the evidence I need an have been told I have a case.

Hi guys, what form do I need to fill and send to diac to remove my migration agent and take over myself? I've been lied to since day 1 and am on the verge of a refusal. My view is that I can't do any worse! any help appreciated as the DIAC site isn't clear

Hi, has anyone completed an RPL with ACS and had it mentioned on their assessment letter? They refuse to add it to mine and I could get rejected because of it as my CO won't award me points without it on there. Any help appreciated

Finally got my CO last week BUT due to what I feel is the incompetency of my agent it looks like I don't have the required points! :cry: I didn't go for state points or spouse points as my agent assured me that I'd get 10 points for completing my RPL via ACS... This doesn't seem to be the case. Gutted is an understatement but I'm not giving up hope and have forced my agent to contact ACS.

Zoom, I wasn't rejected but the whole process took 4months as initially they lost my documents, then they wouldn't accept my tertiary qualifications. At the end of June they told me I was more aligned to a different ANZCO code and needed to do an RPL. After pulling an all nighter I finally got a positive result. Do you have the email for your assessor? I'd ask what code they believe you are aligned to
