  1. Spice Avenue is the closest place you'll get to a british indian! but if it was a takeaway in england, you'd prob order somewhere better. Still worth venturing out there it you miss it badly, plus the 1 of 2 proper english fish and chips shops is a couple doors down, which is good, but they got ozzies cooking, bit hit and miss on the under cooked chips, still decent though. all the equipment got imported over for UK

  6. Hiya guys just a quick one, to those who's already uploaded their Form 80. Under what category do you upload this document as an attachment.... I can't a suitable one and its making me go crazy. Thanks in Advanced Kind regards Luke
  7. yeah, unless i'm wrong??? but if you don't front load and wait for the EOI then wait to be asked for a medical, i gather they issue you a HAP id for you to use to do the medical, where as you're requesting a HAP id and just you're informing them that number. It doesn't feel like its a seperate health exam, with it being for 'migration purposes' 'Bupa or who ever' auto send to migration, so you don't actually see the results.
  8. just do the medical, and enter that HAPIP when your invite comes. its front loading. Alot of people, like myself, do the medical before the EOI
  9. I havnt a clue about whether western australia is different to the east side, but i've found this online http://www.migration.wa.gov.au/services/skilled-migration-wa/occupations-in-demand and it appears that its on the skills list in WA - production managing (manufacturing) Not mining Im hoping someone on here with more knowledge could shed more light on this for you.....

  17. Hello I have another stupid question, but i hope there's no such thing as a stupid question.... uploading documents for my visa (evidence) I was doing this whilst I was in brasil on hoilday just looking over it now before I press the "information provided" and I read this "All supporting documents must be scanned and uploaded with your application. All documents that you provide must be certified copies of original documents. Do not include original documents unless specifically requested to do so by the department. Documents not in English must be accompanied by accredited English translations." Do i need to delete all the original documents ive scanned and uploaded. go make copies... and get them certified.... then rescan them... upload them. Regards Luke
  18. hiya guys Just a quick one: the last question of submitting the visa is Life in Australia - Australian values The applicant declares that all persons included in this application who are 18 years or over have read, or had explained to them, information provided by the Australian Government on Australian society and values and agrees to the Australian Values statement. Yes / No ...... The visa is only for me, I have no one else in the application... so do i select yes or no to the question... Cheers guys Luke

  24. Hey Vicki Defo go through a couple practice tests, just to see the format of the Ielts test, it will help. I did alot of practice reading papers because I'm thick. Speaking, just be prepare to answer ridiculous random questions, just use your imagination and make stories up. and secondly if you think you have more to say on the negative side, do that, I can always find more negatives to talk about than positives. I've done 2 ielts in the last months. Speaking questions: "what do you think about people adapting to change" (very broad) "do you think older people find it hard to adapt to changes" "do you think technology is important" "tell me about a long walk you've done recently" "how do you feel about the house you grew up in" "what improvements could be made in your community" "why?" reading, i'm not going to comment on this because I got a 5 on one of my tests Listening: defo listen to a few practice tests. they seem to be in 4 parts, easy to hard Writing: scrub up on your punctuation and practice writing if your always using a keyboard I've also done and passed a Pearson Test, hit us a message if you want any pointers for that Regards
