Hi Sarif Acknowledgement usually takes 1-3 weeks. Try calling them between 8.30 am - 11.30 am PST. They do not answer calls after 12.00pm.

Today my wife called AHC and the lady over the phone was so rude that she said if we don't receive your calls consider it your bad luck.. she was rude enough to say that I can't tell you about your husband's case, ask your husband to give us a call if he wants to know the update. I called them and they said there are not any updates!! This is getting all ridiculous now!!

My DOL is Oct 2012 and Medicals were completed in March as well.. so I guess we are in the same boat.. are you a male or a female applicant?

This is their usual process. These checks are conducted when you submit form 80 and it could take 6 - 9 months to complete this formality.

Alizx5, I am not sure, cuz they said this test will not affect my visa processing.. its only meant for record-keeping..

they will do that anyways cuz their "12 months" are still not over yet. However, I spoke to IOM, they said the test will not affect the processing of your visa as people who have recently got their visa's issued have also been asked to do the blood tests..
