Apparently Cats are gret to get rid of them. Where my partner works they keep a few on site to keep them away.

Been in Geraldton 7 months, havent seen any snakes, prob see more out in the bush a bit, just stay away from the long grass!! Apparently their more afraid of us!!! I'm not buyin it...
