1. Hey Helent113, I sent my birth certificate, marriage certificate and passport copies. I hope yours goes through quickly too. The only complaint is that they have taken the payment twice and it was off my dads credit card So i hope its easy to get it refunded. xx
 2. Hey Sue, course you can, anything I can do to help. If you PM me your email I will forward the covering letter I sent to AHPRA which included what I sent and who it was signed by. xx
 3. :wubclub: Ooo good luck for your ANMAC, I hope you get it through soon, when did you send it?? If you go 176 where will you be heading for SS?? Good idea to get your visa first. I cant apply for ours until September 10th exactly so I thought I would get all the bits out of the way first. I now only have 12 months to present at AHPRA though so I hope that I get my visa quick.... Keep me posted about your visa I am excited to hear, maybe I can even have a glass of champagne for you to celebrate :jiggy:any excuse eh!!........ xxx
 4. Hey Maruska, Its nice to hear from you I sent it to Adelaide, I posted it from the UK on the 25th and it took a week to get there so really it took them 8 days!! Have you sent yours yet?? Anything I can do just let me know xxx
 5. Has anyone had an experience where they have got their in principal and showed up at the AHPRA office after 12 months? Was it difficult to extend the time frame with AHPRA? XX Thanks Guys xx
 6. This is NOT a joke, I can not even believe it. So I posted my AHPRA application on 25/4/12 thinking it would take ages and be the most stressful part of the process...... I logged onto my email today to find an email from AHPRA. Before I open it i think to myself "god, what have I missed off"....Instead I find "THE ASSESSMENT IS NOW COMPLETE, AND YOU ARE CONSIDERED ELIGABLE FOR REGISTRATION AS A MENTAL HEALTH NURSE IN AUSTRALIA" All I have to do is present at the AHPRA office within 12 months and get my registration. I can NOT believe it has taken 16 days from posting the application for getting my 'in principle'!! I actually dont know what I am going to do, I didnt expect it to take this amount of time and Im not apply for my visa until September!! (on the side of this, my husband and I will not be ready to go until June/July next year and I am wondering if anyone can advise me what would happen if I went to AHPRA to get my registration and then left to come back to the UK until we were ready to go over, kind of like visa validation?) Despite my little dilemma I am SO pleased!!! Oh and I got a firm job offer yesterday too, in writing!! It seems like things are coming together, I just hope that the rest of my application goes smoothly! Good luck to everyone applying and If i can offer any advice of help I will do xxxx
 7.

Hey Charl, Iv emailed you my list and I sent it royal mail track and trace for just £12!! Yeah, your looking around the same time as us, heading into their summer. I am so excited but it just feels so unreal like somethings going to happen to throw a spanner in the works if you know what I mean but I am sure those anxieties are normal for such a big thing. I got an email from ANMAC today to say that it is in a queue so we will see how long that takes....Let me know how your IELTS goes and ill keep you updated on stuff. xxx

 8.

Hey Charl, Whooooo!! <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /> glad you have booked it you feel so much better when you have done it. Yeah we need 8's and I missed out so have to re do it but apparently i can re do the General so i should be OK. Ooo are you excited for assigning him?? September is flying around isnt it. I posted my AHPRA today <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /> I can send you a list of everything you need if you like. I hope they dont mess me about though cause I have put so much effort into prepping the application. Yeah I think its valid for 12 months from the date you get 'in principle' but we hope to be going june next year so we should be ok. Do you have a EDA in mind? xxx

 11.

Hey Charl, I didnt get a message to say you had written back to me, sorry. I know I LOVE Thailand I cant wait!! ANMAC is pretty easy, Douglas from IH will deal with it all, its paying the money thats the hard thing <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Email me any time, my personal email is laura.coldwell@hotmail.co.uk!! Me and Mark are moving into a caravan in 2 weeks to save money for the move, that is a test of marriage i think!! Aw it will be ace to kind of no someone out there! We could even be on the same flight. I am getting ready to submitt AHPRA on Friday...NIGHTMARE!! Let me know how you get on with finding an IELTS date! xx

Adelaide to. <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

can we apply for SS before the 12 months tho yeah?

When's your next ielts?

Aw we will def have to meet up <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Im going to Thailand for a few weeks in June so I am hoping to do it as soon as i get back from there. Erm, i didnt think that we could apply for SS until we meet the visa requirements which would be 12 months post reg <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad.png" alt=":(" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /> You can get ANMAC, AHPRA and IELTS done though which are the major things. Jenny, from Ian Harrop said that from what they know, the 176 process shouldnt be changing that much. I hope they process as quickly as they are at the moment.xx

 13.

Greggers!! How is it going, I havent heard much from you recently. I figured you were hibernating ahead of the 12th, doom doom doom!! Hope all is going OK and your not too stressed out with work and stuff. Love xxxx

 14.

Hey Greggers, sorry I didnt see you had replied (you keep replying on your own wall thing, silly <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Aw I hope your daughter is OK. Dad's always make you feel a bit better when your not feeling the best. Thats what Mark said about the General/Academic stuff. I am confident we will both get our scores. I can't even believe how much the tutors are, I swear that this IELTS business is just a money making scam. Think of how much money they make, i mean there was at least 150 people in the Leeds test center when I sat. I think I need to do some comma work. I keep putting the little blighters in everywhere. How are you getting on surfing the OZ sites?? Have you showed your daughter the "theres nothing like australia" advert? That would cheer anyones day up.I bet she is excited about moving xx

 15.

Yeah thats what I think too and I am not expecting the general to be as difficult as the academic. I am booked in for the 12th too <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /> at Oakhouse but was considering postponing to get a tutor. xx

 16.

I thought I would be gutted but I'm not. I needed 7's in academic for my skills assessment and i got 9, 7.5, 7, 9-overall 8. I now need 8's for my visa so at least I can just sit the general this time. Im glad that I have the results to get on with the skills assessment though. xxx

 17.

Tomorrow I think <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad.png" alt=":(" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sad@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /> The IELTS lady said they were getting posted out today arrghh. Are you off now for the weekend? I'm stuck at miserable work all weekend. I feel like im never out of this place, tempted to go and look in the meds cupboard to see if anything can brighten up my day. xx

 18.

Nooo keep them crossed till tomorrow. Im working 7-2.30 so hopefully by the time i get home they will be waiting for me.....I dont think I will slepp tonight. xxx

 19.

There were 4 of them..that is 4 faces full of horror shock and disgust. The image will be forever imprinted in my mind, I am surprised they did not report me to crimestoppers. I can see it now, Laura Coldwell the sexual predator, preys on the mentally ill!! The horror!! I know what you mean about knowing you could do the job and do a damned good job but then feeling like you messed up, but you can't think of it or it will do your mind in. I believe it aswell, 5 years ago I had been offered sponsor ship but came back to the UK for a silly smelly boy only to be dumped 8 hours after landing back from New York after an around the world trip. Talk about coming back down to earth with a bump, it was more like a slam and then someone shitting on my head!! Anyway I decided to get a degree to get my visa for AU.So if you work hard enough and want it enough it will come I am positive!! Ooo I feel like a wise buddah!! Also, I am totally addicted to this website xx

 21.

P.S-We WILL get there!! xx

 22.

Instead of stewing get some of the good old grape down that oesophagus of your's. Interviews are always horrible and I hate the period of a day or so after where you cringe and think I should have said that or this. Ill tell you something though that might make you feel better, none can be as bad as my first ever interview for my nursing post. They asked me about patient/nurse boundaries and I got all flustered and started talking about not having sex with patients....Can you believe it, they must have though I was a sex addict that preyed on the vulnerable! Suffice to say I did not get the job eek! Im glad you cant wait for my results, I can, I think im going to have the Samaritans on stand by just incase! X

 23.

Aw Skype can be like that and the delay makes it difficult. Im sure they understood the time dely, that would make anyone fluff and stress. If they don't take that into consideration they can't be that nice to work for.All you have to keep remembering is that everything will work out, either road you take. As for other applicants....their loss is someone elses MASSIVE gain. I am certain you would be a credit to any company that offes you a job. Most women can seem OK and then suddenly go off on one, most wont admitt it but I will...Women are PSYCHOPATHS! I also think that leaving you two weeks to wait is a bit mean. I know people say this all the time but everything does happen for a reason, maybe you are supposed to get PR and not got 457 and thats what I mean by no matter which path you choose/are offered it will work out <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" /> yes, spinning is death, i am sure my legs will be in a world of pain tomorrow xx

 24.

Ha ha I am glad that i make you laugh, that's nice! Aw I hope you get it, i really do. I can't wait to see a post from you that says VISA GRANTED!! The job sounds really interesting, and in WA too, nice beaches!! Keep me informed of your progress, I am sure they wont keep you waiting you will get snapped up, I am sure of it!! Well to take my mind off the bloomin 7's and 8's I decided to go spinning at that new Xercise 4 less on Kirkstall road. So in the class it got to the point where I wished the bastard spinner man would shut up and i noticed I had sliced open my finger on the bike and had to leave..yessss!! The best bit was my friend coming out 30 mins later and saying she wished she had sliced hers open too. That spinning is for the suicidal ONLY!! Staying off the Moet now as 1. its to much money and I am not a rockerfella and 2. Waitrose wine is the BEST!! xx

Were doing OK thanks Greggers just making our way through the paperwork for the skills assessment but cant send it until the dreaded results aarrghh! I decided if i dont get 8's i am going to sit the general. Are you sitting general or academic in April? Ha ha although I am a degree educated lady, I had to bake many cakes o get me through that bad boy, it was pure luck, but dont tell my patients that <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I am hoping I am surprised on Saturday, I had saved some Moet for Saurday but got a bit upset on Friday waiting for the results so drank it all then and fell asleep, oopps!! xxx
