  1. I am currently working in Brisbane on a 457 visa but my sponsor is mucking me about. My work is as an electrical/electronic service engineer in the bottling and packaging industry. My work involves the installation, testing and troubleshooting of production machinery involved in the production of Drinks and Bevearges. I am looking for an alternative sponsor. Do you think you can help me?
  2. I am currently waiting for my result from the ARTC. Been a frustrating run so far. I have spoken with QLD licensing and rebecca turner at PEER. my information is that the distance course is no longer available. This seems to be the loophole that certainly QLD was concerned about. As long as the "Open" or unresticted license is obtained in SA, it is valid in all states. It only seems to be an issue when you try to transfer the license to a different state license. This should not be an issue in the short term as it is not necessary to transfer the license until it expires. As long as it is valid, you can work unrestricted in all states and it is recognised by the mutual agreement. For QLD, the form 11 form used to register or transfer the license shows a list of all the other licenses from other states that are recognised. It also says that it is not necessary t transfer a valid license from another state
