And why do you think so? It looks for me that people who applied Feb,Mar,Apr 2011 are now getting their CO. I cant see any current slow down in processing:no:.

I'm from feb, and the last one (as far as I can see) from feb had a CO almost three weeks ago. So I have been sure we'd get a CO tomorrow for weeks now.

so yes, I am starting to get worried....

Well thats it almost for another week. I have to say its been very quiet this week.

 

Lets hope we get many more pinks and purples next week to make up for the lack of them this week.

Well, CO allocations seems to have been stopped this week, or maybe they are silently working. At this pace, i dont think the next update will be to far from feb 1st.... Well, lets see how friday develops in Adelaide

Diabetes does not cost them alot of money< why would you put it in the same group as HIV?..... There is no reason to have complications from Diabetes in this day and age, I hope your comment was made from ignorance and nothing more!

sorry about that, didn't want to insult someone. i mentioned them in one go, because these are different things that I thought were tested during the medicals. There are thousand kinds of different diseases that have nothing to do with eachother and are tested in the same medical test.

I totally agree with you that DIAC's dates show one side and our forum updates show another situation. Regarding DIAC's speed we are likely to have official May around January, but in fact they can start processing May applicants in December.

According to DCAL's calucations on the spreadsheet it should be around the 20th December update, this is based on using average calculations from Dec 2010.

Personally I think they will start processing May applicants in around 3 weeks but the DIAC update wont reflect that

DCAL works with the official timelines, and DIAC's timelines on the websites are the latest ones, and not the average or the start of a group. I mean, they're doing April now, and most Feb11's have a grant, but we (feb11) still don't even have a CO. So the DIAC update will probably show something like 1st Feb, while a lot from April are already allocated. That means they could start processing May11 in 3 weeks, but won't have the last May applicant processed until December. And then you would both be right :cute:

I agree, the longer you can wait the better. I recon at current speed you will have a CO by Dec if not sooner.

 

The call from our Panel Doctor is proof their not that busy as they wanted to get us in within 24 hours...

And how about our case? We are thinking about booking medicals as well, not really sure though. We should have had a CO about three weeks ago, compared to the other feb11-applicants, but still nothing. We want to book medicals to try to speed things up and to be able to do something apart from waiting.

Unfortunately, I do not agree with you because I do not think that they apply a principle of a lottery when allocating someone a CO. :no:

maybe not a lottery, but probably something more or less the same: give a team a random pile of applications from a certain timeframe, and start at the top. When your applications is on the bottom, some other team will have started on another pile from the next timeframe, before your application is picked up.

maybe the CO just didn't change the status of something. If he wanted more info, he would have asked, I suppose.

Hi yesterday I contacted DIAC and they said my application is batched for Allocation of CO and CO is not yet assigned. and I applied on 29-12-2010.

 

I did my medicals on 6-10-2011 within Australia but just realized that i forgot to put my TRN on the forms, is TRN is important on medicals or it will be attached to my Application based on passport numbers?

I sent an email to my agent, but he never promises anything so he will probably point out the date on http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/estimated-allocation-times.htm and tell us to be patient. Would it be a good idea to contact DIAC myself or should I wait?

so far I seem to be only feb11 applicant left without a CO :cry:

.. You expect a level of service when you instruct a professional and when this falls below what you expect you do start to question it. .... Don’t forget some of us have had CO’s done medicals and police checks before only to have processing stopped and put on hold. So excuse me for my Worry, I will rest once the visa is granted.

You are of course right with your agent. They should realize it is not just a new coat or a theater ticket you are buying, you are paying them to help you start a new life. That means they should help and be professional in how they do so.

Anlopa, are you in doubt you will get a grant?

Reason I'm asking is that, in the end, a couple of weeks don't make difference. (don't hit me!) . My hubby keeps trying to convince me of that: we plan to move either in May or August 2012, and only if we sell the house in time. So there is no reason to stress now, waiting for a CO. I mean, if it doesn't happen today, it is more than likely we will have a CO before May 2012! Than why am I/are we going :arghh: all the time??
