hi there we got r visa grand yesterday, so just getting these forms filled in, any word back from ur application?

you need to complete vetassess. 1st part is all paperwork, we gave 8 years work refs, certs, pay records, etc. basically to prove you have been working as an electrician. once this is done you can then apply for next available practical date in the uk..

That's works out great, have ya any work lined up? We have r meds on sat, & pc sent so don't want to tempt fate, were going to wait for the good news email & then plan & organise ourselves. But it's great to know wat you have done, ya hear horror stories bout sparks waiting months to get on the course & some employers won't look at ya wit no licence. Seems the vetassess was worth all the hassle & money to get the otsr!!!

That's brilliant to hear from some1 that has actually done this, because in my head, this was the handiest way of doing it from uk so no waiting around in WA... That's my plan also, wife & 3 kids in toe, defo don't wanna be waiting around. Another ?? When r u planning on heading over? & what date did you get 4 the 2 week course? Much of a wait?

okay so now with your letter of approval (restricted permit to work supervised), do you try to get a date for the next available 2 week course in the collage. did you use an oz address for energy safe to post the letter back to. how recent have you completed & sent your form to energy safe?

Ya no wat even r agent said it, he's never in all his time heard of the co's demands from us. refs, tax letters have just not been enough, now there looking contracts... Not possible. head bout to explode, i think wev just got a new starter at the diac office. anyways good luck wit the forms wit energy safe, i hope its smooth sailing...

We have team 4, requested meds & polices checks, but also few tax bits, wev sent the tax stuff but there looking details of 2004, as I was self employed then iv sent back financial states from acc, but there looking receipts from tools, invoices, letter from companies. But I was only labour SE. Not owning my own company. Agent is trying to explain the SE c45 status to CO so hope they understand, as meds r on sat. & don't want there to b a hold up on 2004 info. I read up on the energy safe form & the app needs to b filled in uk with the doc required & then posted to oz (a friend) then they post from there local post office & an oz payment method. I'd prob put there address on the form so they can post to there's. Can u clarify this is rite??

Crowded house... i have a few spark mates over there in wa, latest 1 did say if u can get the restricted licence b4 ya leave the uk that wood save Alot of time, if u have an oz address ya can use also. Once ya have the restrict licence ya can go to the local college & hopefully get booked on the nx available course 2 weeks, after completed grade a licence, & u can have ur pick of spark jobs & like ya say sit back & enjoy a nice cool 1. there was no mention of a log book. He actually got a job offer on the plane over while talking to an ozzy, but only as a TA, which tied him over till he got the licence, so from arriving in nov, had the licence by feb & only took that time cause of Xmas hols. Keep me posted on ur restricted licence application from uk. We havnt got the grant only co last week, but I no u need the grant to apply to energy safe. Crowded house... Is it possible to apply for the restricted licence from energy safe from uk, do u use an Oz address? What about booking the 2 week grade a course from uk? Interested to know about this. Were at the meds & police checks stage...
