Emirates would be best for you as they fly direct from Glasgow with one short stopover in Dubai but if you are wanting to go cheaper you can look at other airlines with more /longer stopovers. More hassle than its worth though IMO.

Yeah I nearly stood on one in my front garden a couple of weeks ago. Lots of them about just now!

457's are not being looked on favourably for many industries now. I know that one of the big mining companies will no longer allow any 457 visa holders to work on their project anymore. I personally know someone who worked for a reputable contrator who was denied clearance onto the mine site due to being on a 457.

I don't get why they are cancelling ISIS wannabe's passports to stop them leaving the country. Surely it would be in the interest of the countries safety to let them leave then cancel their passports?? It's like containing an angry wasp in a room full of people.. Sooner or later someone is going to get stung!

Have always found emirates very good. I flew Perth to Dubai, then Dubai to Glasgow with then only 6 days ago and the staff were very good. The toilets were clean the food was pretty good and the inflight entertainment was good. No complaints really.

Flying back to Perth with them on Sunday.

The danger with online reviews is that the one in every 500 people flying with them who perhaps had a bad experience will be the person who goes online to vent their discontent whereas the 499 who had no complaints will just carry on as normal.

Sorry I don't buy that one, what did you expect people to be doing when you returned..? Maybe people are happy in their jobs, house and their local they visit. Why is it people find it odd that people are doing the same things...? If you take a close look at people's life in Australia don't you think their in the same old job, house, beach ,pub..?? What makes this place so different..? How many Australians go overseas to return to see family and friends doing the same old things..? This isn't Disneyland

Moving down South is not to do with being unsettled either Dave, it's more to experience the places we have decided we love best here more often and enhance our lifestyle...I'm not the stay in one place long term kind tbh...nothing wrong with those who are but I do get itchy feet yes...too much to see!

Doesn't matter if their car is cheaper and economical. If you earn a low wage then per percentage you are more than likely to be out of pocket per percentage of salary than a high earner... It's not rocket science.

To me, it seems the people who voted this government in will defend them to the core no matter what bullsh!t they spout!
