Hi Breilly- It just shows how inconsistant the process in terms of the order in which things get looked at approved and then revert back to previous status......very frustrating!!!
Appreciate your comments & the best of luck.
Next week I am optimistic...I have to be.

Uh, guys.
I checked my online application status yesterday afternoon at around 23:00 Adelaide time - and no progress or CO - but I got an email at around 10:00 adelaide time this SATURDAY MORNING (OMG! They're working on weekends!) to ALLOCATE ME A TEAM 4 CO, BABY! COLOUR US PINK!!!
I'm utterly gobsmacked! I've applied for PCCs (they take around 6 weeks here in South Africa) and I'll book the medicals when we get back from holiday (we're going away until after Easter).
DIAC - you guys rock! Thanks!!!
What a way to start the day! :jiggy:

Congratulations!!!!!!!

Agree with NatsB. I would book meds and send them an e-mail with details of dates and location of medical examination(s).
Thanks we have booked meds for 5/4 and let our agent know and just received back PCC but we would really like to know that everything else has been checked and OK. We just wondered if this was the usual way of requesting info.
-
Just wanted to throw out a question. We have been contacted by our CO on 13/3 and have been asked to provide evidence of work experience (already submitted anyway) and PCC and medicals. We are waiting on the Co to come back to us re: work experience before we go for medicals but so far have heard nothing further.
Has anyone else been asked to provide all this together? I would have thought that they would check out work stuff and then ask us to go for medicals as they have asked that everything is submitted in 28 days.
Please help.:mad::confused:

Congratulations Heine77 and ind175 welcome to CO land!!!:twitcy::biggrin::yes:

It surely is stressful. Has your agent responded regarding the proof of work experience? In my case the CO approved the information sent regarding the work experience within a day. As I mentioned earlier, the HR at the company I work at got a call from the Aus High Commission around 8 - 10 days back.
Keep the faith!
No agent hasn't responded yet. Just confused as I thought medicals would be requested only when CO was happy with everything else. Oh well we will just have to wait we're good at that..................................:daydreaming:
-
Initially the CO did not ask for PCC and Medicals. The initial letter asked for "additional details to prove work experience" and "qualification assessment by vetassess".
Ok thanks for that. We have been asked for work experience and PCC and medicals but want to hold off on the medicals until all work issues are cleared. I wish this process was a bit more straight forward and consistant!! We will have to wait and see if our agent gets back to us. Hope its soon going a bit crazy here :arghh::twitcy:
-
We got another communication from the CO today. The work experience aspect is now sorted out. The CO has asked to go ahead with PCC and Medicals. So the remaining aspects are:
1. Qualification assessment from Vetassess - Filed Mar 17
2. Medicals - Scheduled for Mar 31
3. PCC - Already have ones issued in mid Jan, contemplating getting new ones. Opinion regarding this is welcome.
sounds like you're nearly there well done!!
When your CO initially contacted you were you asked for PCC Medicals and work experience to be submitted then or have you only just been asked to submit medicals and PCC.

Still here waiting, waiting, waiting........................................................................................
-
Thanks for asking but we still don't know, phoned diac but they wouldn't tell us as we have an agent, and our agent
still hasn't received the email that was sent 4 days ago. Our agent has requested that it be resent but we have been told
that this could take up to seven days for response to be sent. Not good really and I thought waiting for a co was stressful
We're in a similar situation. All docs that were requested have been sent. PCC sent. Meds booked 5th April. All docs still showing as required :arghh:
-
Thanks for that, just beacause most of June applicant have co doesn't mean that the process is over, far from it let us at least get to say visa granted if it ever happens !!
What's happening with you today Brielly. Did you find out what further info was needed??
-
---I got an email from my CO today after a 16,5 months wait being from a LR country---
This is what it said:
Correspondence relating to your visa application has been drafted and is awaiting approval prior to being sent.
Your patience is appreciated.
Kind Regards
----
Guys it can be done. You just have to be patient.
Flippie your patience should be appeciated!!!! Well done:yes:

Has anyone else had to provide additional proof of work experience as requested by their case officer?......And is this this a standard thing or is it just us!!!!
Hi we've been asked to provide work experience, form 80, medicals and PCC :err:
-
Just an update. We have sent off our police checks and booked medicals for 5th April.
Congrats to everyone who got co's and grants today. i can't keep up with you all !!

Congratulations Zippie
-
after 5 weeks from co allocated , everything being met but still no visa grant I decided to sit up and phone diac, was told that a email had been sent to my emigration lawyer requesting further info on the 19th, but couldn't tell me what info they needed .. haven't slept and need to wait until 9 to speak to agent . so stressed :-( please make it be something simple !
Hope its something simple. It would make things so much easier if our agents contacted us as soon as something was requested. The waiting and not knowing is the hardest part. Good Luck:wacko:
