  1. Thanks for that, I will try to sort out my on line training record and I'll get that signed by my employer. It is so frustrating, I have asked for certificates, but they don't do them! It will take a while when they have time to oroduce one, I'll use this for them and send it after I have sent these documents off. It will take a little bit to sort out online access after being locked out :0(
  2. Hi, I am trying to get together certificates for venepuncture, cannulation, infusion therapy, conflict resolution, ils. I have recently started the mentorship course, but the university has sent this confirmation via email, if I get them to send me a hard copy via post would this be good enough? I have no idea what to include. Do they require anything from employer regarding my cpd. My clinical sister as the ward manager is going on maternity leave signed a letter stating my dates I have worked, job title, salary, hours, full time, perm position, under no restrictions, listed my jobs and skills, stated that the hospital is English and I have a thorough knowledge of the English language. She has not stated any learning developments? She will write another letter for me. I am trying to get my training record from the computer system, but having issues getting on to the system to update relevant training for this. They are due in May to be updated. please help, I don't want to get this wrong. Which office is not as strict Adelaide or Perth? I have only been 19 months qualified.
  3. Wish I could like 10 times lol. Did aphra say that you didn't need the job offer? That's fantastic, I want the modified assessment too.
  4. Hi!For a modified assessment you need to complete your registration in one of AHPRA's offices, to get the certificate and to be, literally, written down in the register. Only the eligibility letter is not enough for a modified assessment, as per ANMAC's regulations :arghh:. Good luck! Oh great, I need a job offer to become fully registered!
  5. Sounds great having the job offers. Im hoping to do a modified skills assessment for pr. I read that you need a job offer to complete your registration?
  6. Wow, I have read 43 pages! Congrats to all of those who got registered, what a nightmare for some. i will be sending mine to Adelaide, but want to live in Perth. I have been advised by agent to apply for registration and then the modified assessment. However, I have read to complete the registration I have to have a job offer? Is this correct? Thanks
  7. Hi, thank you so much for your help. I'm getting really nervous now. I have done cv in accordance with the aphra guidelines. I'll have to look that I have actually listed like below. It does really help. I will ask my clinical sister to write this. This letter also needs to be signed by the notary? I have still been unable to get an appt with a magistrate, will try again Monday. Notary is charging £65.00' but not sure she knows how much there is to sign. Does the notary also need to sign my cv and my aphra application form?
  8. Oh wow! That's great. I'm getting the last few bits together for my aphra. Which office are you sending?
  9. The clinical sister will sign my cv and will do a letter for reference. Can she say am in charge of 12-15 patients and job spec (what we use for vacancies) attached and signed? Otherwise we are not sure what she should write. There will be dates of employment, fitness to work and I work full time. I already obtain a letter from hr that states my employment dates, job title and no working restrictions. Another issue is we do not have letter headed paper :0(, due to the trust deficit we have letter head scanned onto word documents and all correspondence is on black letter head paper. It does look like a photocopy, but it is an original. Do you think they need to write this is an original. I'm terrified aphra will not believe that we do not have specific letter head paper.
  10. Hi My employer wrote a letter stating dates, job title, hours and wage. However they have not stated that I was fit to work or a job. I have included an offer letter and a job spec that my employer can sign. Would this be enough?
  11. Hi, i will be sending my documents on Tuesday and I'm worried about it getting lost in the post. Can you tell me who you used to send your paperwork off with. I would be happy being able to track it, after reading aphra are known to lose documents. I am sending it to the Perth Office. Thanks
  12. I wonder why his bike was charged. I wonder if it was under a yr. I will get my husband to ask again. Thanks
  13. I don't actually know, I will have to get a direct answer from them as I heard this through my husband. I am getting worried too.
  14. Hi, our friend relocated to Brisbane and was stung with a huge tax for a bike that was a year old. They said any item under 2 years you have to pay tax in Australia? Is this true? 1) we do not have receipts for all of our items, so how would they know how old it was 2) would be better off buying 2nd hand decent items to bring in case we are charged? we are after a new sofa and drawers. A new coffee table. I am worried about this tax. Thanks
  15. Hi, i have just read that WA ask how much money you would be bringing with you. A lot of our money would be from our house sale. Do they require a bank balance or a mortgage balance with a house quotation? Is there a minimum they would accept? Thanks
  16. After reading this thread I am concerned! I am a Registered Nurse and my husband a Business Analyst. How is the job market in Perth metropolitan area for these industries? Or has it just hit civil engineering and trade jobs? I am going through the aphra process and then visa. We are looking at Perth primarily as my sister in law will be there, but also interested in Adelaide and Queensland.
  17. My parents will do the same, the price of accommodation is so expensive they may not want to live there. However, I would be happy for them to move for there aged care needs by living with us rather than in a uk residential home. Fingers x they can do 6 months each until the 2 years go through. I have read that you cannot go to oz on a tourist visa if applying for pr? Is this true?
  18. Hi, Thank you for your help it has helped a lot. i am planning on going on a pr visa, but I am also looking for employer sponsorship. I am worried about the 28 day rule. I understand they have lots of jobs, but with 3 children I am frightened. However, I also need to be out there by the end of next yr, as my daughter will be in her final 2 years of school and I cannot take her out in the middle of those. Luckily the schools are a yr behind and start the year in February, which allows us that extra time.

    EOI date

I'm confused, when do you know the invitation dates? I'm a nurse who will have 60 points. I am looking for a sponsored visa. I am interested to know how this occupation and visa is going?
  20. That is a lot quicker than I anticipated. I am a Registered Medical Adult Nurse. I have been qualified for 2 years in September. I am hoping to move to Perth. We visited Perth last year and fell in love. We are paying £65 for my I'd to be signed and this is due to them being the earliest appt. I work shifts and was hard to get an appointment. I also dd not realise that a magistrate could sign it. I am hoping this is all I need, lost my high school certificates and I have a letter from my high school stating my grades and was taught in English with dates. I have my version of my certificate for nursing, I will enclose a passport, marriage certificate, letter from employer stating I work full time under no visa conditions and dates, I also will be including a job spec, job offer letter, cv that will be signed by employer, a statement of further learning since registration and my NMC registration. I am also aware I need to contact NMC for fitness to practice and university transcript. I don't know when I should contact them to send it if I do not have an reference number. Do you recommend Adelaide office? My daughter and I will be flying to Australia to confirm my identity, so that we can visit schools, but will need to go to Perth. Anything I have forgotten, I am so paranoid.
  21. Hi, I have an appointment with a notary of public solicitor Friday and they can sign all of my documentation. However, how long has it taken for you to get your registration processed and which office. I am hoping to work in Perth, but registration apparently allows you to work anywhere. Should I apply to another office that has takes less time and then ask them to transfer the documents to Perth when I fly out to confirm? thanks
