Probably is a nicer place.....in fact the weather Deffo is nicer ). I always struggle with the 'more opportunities' issue I always hear as don't know what people mean by that. I guess playing out in the sunshine is all i presume they mean ? The schools, job opportunities and ability to buy your home when you're older are better in the Uk. All my childrens cousins have managed to get on the housing ladder back there and it does concern me

Loved reading your post. We are definitely between camps as a family. Oz not for me and deffo more to see and do back in Europe for the children. Very anxious about the whole thing so thanks for the positivity.

I am in exactly the same boat.....seriously thinking about taking my 15 year old back but they would be in the middle of their gcse's - really don't know what to do. I will post the question too but I do think a quick call to the school may be the go.

I had customer service experience in Uk government. No problem finding work, the Aussies really respect UK customer service experience. Good luck, but u shouldn't need it.

so much more going on even if the weather is poor in Europe. Why do people think the kids have more opportunity ? I have to travel over and hour to get to work ! .....and there is a lot of that. I guess it depends on where you live in oz course ? We emigrated from manchester and don't find life easier at all ((
