<p>Happy Christmas to you guys to!! Thats our last white christmas for a while now!!!</p>

It's minus degrees all day and night here at the mo so really looking foward to some heat - 7 degrees feels like a heatwave at the mo!!!! lol x</p>

<p>Happy Christmas! Up early so thought I would check emails</p>

<p>All around Maroochydore is great, we love it there, so close to everything. We're living at Kawana Island now and it's beautiful, just over the bridge from Warana but feel like your on a Caribbean Island! </p>

<p>We struggled a bit on the job front, Jamie is in sports, he had a coaching job lined up for when we got here but didn't really like it and has really struggled to find a job he enjoys, but hopefully now I think he may be sorted.</p>

<p>I'm in Childcare and nothing for 2 months, didn't recognise UK qualification, company took me on but not what I wanted. Completed the Oz qualification now and start new job doing exactly what I want after Christmas!</p>

<p>Few months there where we wondered if we'd done the right thing but as hard as it was we stuck at it and 6 months later we're loving it!</p>

<p>When your settled after flights etc, let us know and we'll meet up for a drink.</p>

<p>Just seen your message now its taken me forever to try and figure out how to reply!!! lol x </p>

<p>We land on 10 Feb and have a holiday let booked in Kings Beach for the first 3 weeks, we are looking at living a bit further North around Maroochydore or about 10 mins inland or upwards, Pauls favourite place when we had a breif look around (a whole 6 hours or so!!) was Warana. We originally did all our research for the Gold Coast then when we validated in June we had 3 days in Oz and drove up to the Sunny Coast and fell in love with it so all the plans got turned upside down!! lol x</p>

<p>What do you guys do work wise...? was it ok to find (you hear so many horror stories etc), Paul's a Carpenter by trade and I work in admin but will do anything (within reason) to start with - ideal job would be wine tasting!! lol x</p>

<p>Just seen your thread about moving to the Sunny Coast and meeting up in Feb and didn't want to get caught up in the whole thing but me (27) and my boyfriend (29) have been here for 6 months now and love it, we originally moved to Maroochydore, then Warana and now live in Kawana Island. If you need to know anything feel free to give me a shout, may be able to help, may not but could be another friend when you get here.</p>
