We moved to Australia a couple of years ago, have had several moves but this is our last hopefully. Really enjoying the Central Coast, but would love to meet other families around the Terrigal area. Are there any mums out there with a toddler and a bub who would like to meet up?

Anyone recommend any toddler/play groups in the area? Also want to find a good swimming class for Evie. Its feeling a bit weird at the moment so it would be great to meet some fellow Brits who can educate me!
  7. Hi I am 37 and moving over to Sydney in Feb with my husband and two daughters aged 4 and 3 and would love to meet up with other mums with young children as soon as we can. Until mid-march we will be living in an apartment then plan to rent in the Hills District. Now that Christmas and New Year has passed reality is kicking in that soon I will be over there with no friends or family to chat to or meet up with. I am really looking forward to moving but also anxious about being lonely for a while. Mind you my girls will keep me going! If anyone in a similar position or has suggestions for playgroups in the Hills District please get in touch. Thanks Lisa

  9. Hi all, my name is Sarah I'm 26 and about to become a first time mum, baby due March 3rd I moved to Perth with my husband just over 6 months ago after travelling around South America and Asia for a year. We currently live in South Perth but are possibly looking at moving north of the river once baby arrives. Calling out to any young mums (or mum-to-be as I have started referring to myself ) out there that are looking for a friend or friends to meet up with. I love to shop, go to the movies, BBQ’s or just meet up for a coffee and a chat. Look forward to hearing from you
  10. After our last successful meet up. Anyone want to meet up this week? We've been to Portofinos in Quinns Rocks and we've done Beach Shack at Hillary's Harbour. Anywhere else that anyone would like to recommend? I think Hillarys was great as the wee beach and play area was lovely and the beach shack toy corner was a hit with the kids while we had coffee. I'm Pamela, 31 and have three brilliant babies, Doone who's 5 and will be in school this week, Newlin who's 3 and well up for meeting more friends and Maeryn who's 17 months and is always happy to say hello to other toddlers. I'm happy to travel as I have a car and sat nav but what say the rest of you busy Mums? Where suits yous and what day? I would say a morning after 1030 is best for me or afternoons that finish by 230 so I can pick up my school girl. Even better, meet UPS that are so successful we start ay 1030 and finish at 0230! Thoughts?
  11. Who would be up for a meet up next Wednesday at Hillarys Marina? I'll be there with the 3 year old Newlin and 1 year old Maeryn, Doone will be in school. I thought 12 or 1230 would be good? What do you all think?

  23. Just wondering if there are any new mums out there? We've been here 6 weeks now and our son Charlie is 4 months old. We've been meeting loads of australian people at mothers groups etc and it's great to have oz friends and everyone's been really really lovely. However, if there are enough of us I thought it might be nice to start a UK mums "mothers group" to meet every so often to share what we have learnt about oz, places to go with kids, things to do etc. we're based in caulfield (sort of inner south east) but have a car so can travel. Any mums welcome even if your kids are a bit older. Any dads welcome too of course. Looking forward to meeting up soon. Sheryl (and Charlie)
  24. Hey I`m (F, 34 originally from London UK ) about to move to Sydney and also about to have my first child in October so would love to meet women in a similar position! Preferably in their thirties and keen to maintain interests outsides of the children (however unrealistic that may be for a few months!) Interested in travel, culture, books, politics, beaches, bikes, hikes, music, science, festivals, the chance to have a drink again soon and of course babies! Just want to meet some generally interesting, funny, laid back, nice people that could I potentially hang out with while I`m not working. Cheers!
