Hi, all Can anyone confirm whether I have to be working before I am able to transfer my three UK pensions across into an Australian super? I have seen conflicting advice on the Internet. I'd like to transfer the funds (even though they don't amount to a large pot of money) to Australia so that I can manage the investment of the funds and add to them when I'm working. My partner has an AMP super and we've been very pleased with it. So they're a company I'm interested in. The six month deadline is ticking away so I need to make an informed choice. My permanent residency came through in March 2015. Any thoughts/previous experiences welcome. Many thanks!

Hey, there! Also in Melbourne and my partner and I submitted our application at the end of October 2012. We had a letter back saying they had received it (we sent it via courier) and that it would take around 13 months to process. I'm not expecting to hear anything until then TBH. Keep me updated with how you go!
