<p>We are hoping that we are in a position to move to Brisbane this summer!</p>

<p>Our eldest, Ciara starts secondary school this September, so we want to do it before then,even though she gained a scholarship into a very good school in Liverpool.I don't really want her to have to change schools twice.</p>

<p>The house will be going on the market within the next 2 weeks. 2 houses on our road have sold in the last 3 months, for prices that we would be happy with, so fingers crossed. We also have the option to rent it out, as the house would rent for more than the mortgage payments and TBH we won't be taking the money we have in equity due to the exchange rates. We are lucky enough to still have some of Terry's redundancy money left to tide us over until either the house sells or Terry gets a job. Without it we wouldn't have been able to do any of this. </p>

<p>Ideally we would like to sell the house to avoid the complication of having to do it later, but we won't let it spoil our plans if it does't sell.</p>

<p>We are planning on QLD around Brisbane. My hubby has a great aunt and cousins there. Terry and the kids have never been to OZ but I went travelling there in my early twenties and havnt been able to get it out of my head since!</p>

<p>I have just spoken to a friend of mine who is also planning the move with her family and she is interested in the meeting too so I'll give her the details and get her to come along.</p>
