    Hi WRussel, 

    i hope this is okay, but you’ve provided such good advice to my other posts so I thought ,why not ask you’....if this isn’t okay, apologies! 

    Basically I’ve heard a lot of talk about ‘front loading apps’, however I’m abit confused as each medical surgery that conducts the assessments over here requests that we bring a HAP ID number with us. 

    Am I only able to get this number Once we’ve applied online?

    When do we get a HAP ID number?

    I was going to still ‘front load’ the police checks for both Aus and UK though as they are just a case of ordering. 

    What would be your recommended order of doing things, or better yet the only way we can do it (yes, I know I’m such a rookie!)??

      You get a HAP ID when you 'arrange your medical' and and download your e medical referral letter. I never front load.

      Ah Brilliant; so it’s a stage I can only get to once we apply due to the download of the e medical referral letter.
