MARYROSE02
That period covers the end of winter, into spring, and then the beginning of December, so, cold, cool to warm, warm to hot, hot.
lea211
I would say Melbourne is unpredictable. It can be very hot or cold in any season, and it seems to rain a lot (but as a former Canberra resident, that might be just my perception). I haven't spent much time in Melb as such in Sept, but from memory it wasn't terribly cold - I think around 16 on average.
Lambethlad
Usually mild with a few warm days thrown in. Winter seems to be getting longer but not as cold. Last summer was very mild. We usually have the wood fire going at night from the end of March right up to December. Bring all your winter clothes or better still, head for Queensland.
