  3. Thanks for the reply, yes the work and the region qualify and i will have it all signed off with payslips to back it up aswell. Really hoping that it counts as 3 months from date i started first job because it means i only have 4 weeks left after NYE!!! lol
  4. Hi all... Is there any Immigration Agents on here that could give me some quick advice please, I did 3 weeks and 2 days on one farm but then left that place and started on another farm the following day where i have been for the last 6 weeks and will be for the remainder of my farm work. The question is do i have to count my 3 months from when i started on my new farm or can i use my original start date meaning i only have 4 weeks left? P.s... The first farm i was at has signed me off for the time i was there Thanks in advance Rich
  5. Ah okay got ya. Im planning to do regional paid farm work/fruit picking so that rule wouldn't affect me anyway
  6. Oh right cool. Thailand is really cheap, you could get accommodation and eat for 4 days for about £50 in Bangkok lol. Im budgeting around 800-1000 to last me a month there and that includes doing quite a bit of travelling around. When was it you're going again?
  7. When is it you're going again? Was you going to stop anywhere on way over or just go straight to Oz?
  8. I'm just outside London, near Stansted Airport
  9. Yeah i think that was one of the many i looked at actually
  10. Haha nothing ever goes quite to plan! Yeah going with the flow suits me quite nicely, im quite laid back lol
  11. Lol... I'm sure you'll be fine! When i moved abroad the first time i didnt even do any research. Just turned up and found a cheap hotel then went round all the bars and got a job lol
  12. I never do, worrying about things is too much effort! Im happy to just wing it haha
  13. Nice one cheers, where are you at the moment then?
  14. Afternoon. Just wondering if anyone can tell me how easy it is to find bars/pubs showing English football matches? Cheers Rich
  15. Yeah whatever the weather its going to be better than being sat in an office in the UK lol
  16. Well I'm arriving mid September, going to do few months in Melbourne then a month or 2 in Sydney then will be heading north around Feb sort of time. Yeah im really looking forward to it, well excited! lol
  17. I went in April so driest time of year, the islands were nice but Bangkok and in the jungle north of Bangkok was ridiculously humid.
  18. I arrive in Melbourne mid September so will be keeping an eye on this thread to see what people suggest
  19. which one was you looking at? I guess it just depends on whether you really want to do that stuff doesnt it, the whole getting yourself sorted once you're there doesn't sound too difficult
  20. Yeah the humidity is the hard bit, heat i can deal with comfortably but when i was in Thailand last year it was the humidity i struggled a bit with. Especially at night! Rain doesn't bother me too much being from the UK lol
  21. I have looked into some of these but decided not to bother. I suppose the peace of mind from having a pick-up from the airport, somewhere to stay, Bank Account and TFN sorted for you would be nice. I'm just gonna book somewhere for 1st 2 weeks so i just got to find my way to there when i land. Applied for bank account online yesterday and received email this morning saying thats all sorted ready for me to transfer money into, just got to pop into a branch when i get there to show my passport and collect debit card. As far as i know the TFN is quite straight forward aswell
  22. Personally i would like to get as many AUD to the £ as i can when i head over in September! lol
  23. Never been to either Austria or Bulgaria, both supposed to be really nice though. Being stuck in a bar doesn't sound so bad to me! haha
  24. You're not the only one, very rarely get a real good storm where i am. Being sat in a little beach bar in Koh Phangan watching a massive storm across the sea was a great experience. average temp of 35c sounds good to me! lol... Dont think it will be anywhere near that when i arrive in Melbourne!
