Full-time earnings in Australia averaged A$69,992 a year in the first quarter of 2012. (Seasonally adjusted wages – Bureau of Statistics.)

 

 

If overtime and bonuses are included, average Australian earnings were A$73,086 per annum.

 

 

This figure will have gone up in 2013

Is'nt that like the Uk figures though Hoff?I can't remember the average earnings here,but I know its some obscure figure that 2/3rds of the pop don't earn!

 

I think the graph showing the wages are just averages, It gives people a ball park figure what to aim for, most on here with visas are skilled migrants.

ooo makes me want to switch from healthcare to mining haha though i dont think my manicured nails and me in a a hard hat would hack it lol.........im pleased with my potential income and a good post Hoff interesting thx x

 

I think there has been a slow down in the mining sector, so getting this type of money or work at all isn't that easy anymore.
