    Guys, I need your advice/comments on my situation too.... I made initial entry in Oct 2013 and then came back to my home country and never went back to Aus...now my PR visa is expiring on 27th Feb 2018...I was not able to move back to Aus permanently due to the fact that my parents were alone and ill, and there was no other sibling to take care of them, so I had to stay with them....now recently my father died on on 22nd January 2018 after chronic illness....I want to apply for RRV, so what options do I have here now? Does my father death count as "a compelling and compassionate reason for leaving Australia"?

Did you presented a letter from you country for working remotely from aus as a proof of substantial ties? 3. What other proof of substantial ties you gave? 4. What compelling and compassionate reason you have for being away from aus? waiting for you detailed reply

    Is there any initial entry date for partner visa on grant notice? or you can travel anytime after grant?

    Folks, Dire need of your help to clear my confusion about RRV after 190 expiry. I am really worried about my PR visa. Some brief detail about my scenario: I was granted 190 in march 2013, I made my initial entry in Oct 2013 and then came back to my home country. After that I never traveled back to Aus. Now my 190 is expiring in March 2018. Questions: 1. What happens when your 190 visa gets expired? Do they renew it? or you have to get RRV? 2. RRV has a condition that you must stay in Aus for last 2 years. Would I be able to get RRV? 3. Is there any requirement with 190 visa that you have to enter Aus before 1 or 2 year of visa expiry? 3. What should I do to keep my PR valid for 190? I can't travel until next Feb/Mar 2017. Really appreciate for your valuable comments. Thanks.

    I am getting following error while filling sponsorship online application: "The related application details provided cannot be verified, check the details and amend if necessary. The applicant will not be able to continue and should review the eligibility information on our website." which means that my partner must submit her application and pay the fees, after which I can proceed further with my sponsorship application. I just want to know which things they ask for in this online application, do somebody have saved snapshots of questions asked by sponsor of online application? If someone have them, please share.

    Guys, I need your advice to process partner VISA for my wife. I am 190 PR holder for VIC and currently in Pakistan. I want to move with my wife together. 1. Is there any requirement for 309/100 visa that sponsor must be residing in Australia while applying for this visa? I am in Pakistan currently and never lived in Aus for more than 1 week uptil now. 2. I just filled application for partner visa and they just ask for sponsor contact details. Nothing mandatory. You can provide any address of any country. I don't think its mandatory that sponsor should be in Aus while sponsoring. Please confirm. 3. Can we apply for visitor after applying for 309 and move on visit visa? 4. Apply via VFS Global does help in anyway or online application yourself is better? Thanks.

    Hey dinkydoo I too got Vic SS and invitation to apply through skill select today. There is one issue that I am unable to lodge visa application using skill select due to absence of "Apply for Visa" button on EOI home page, under "Action" column. Are you having this issue as well or not? I have asked skill select support team to resolve the issue though. Thanks.
