Tina G
Hi all, We are planning on moving interstate soon and were wondering if anyone had any reccomendations on insurance firms to use. In the Uk we moved with Crown and insurance with Letton Percival. Are there any similar companies to Letton over here in Australia for interstate removals? If anyones interested we have recieved quotes from Crown, Grace and Kent. So far Kent's come in around $700 cheaper to move the contents of a three bedroom house between Melbourne and Canberra. cheers in advance. yorkiegirl
Can't help you with the insurance company, but just wanted to say we have used Kent twice for interstate moves and were very happy with the service. Used another very well known large company once (not one you've mentioned) but wouldn't use them again.
Cerberus1
Hi We used Suncorp insurance when moving interstate, but I've a feeling they've stopped offering it now. Westpac offer it - http://www.westpac.com.au/personal-banking/insurance/home-contents/home-removals-insurance/ there's probably others as well. Cerberus1
We used Crown moving from Melbourne to Cairns. No problems, negotiable on price.
