Paulr
Hi, Does anyone know if WA are looking for a certain amount of money for you to have available to take over? I know you need to be able to afford and have funds to live on for first few months, just wondered if they have a minimum amount in mind and if people get turned down due to insufficient funds? Paul. BlueBell1997
When we enquired re state sponsorship a couple of years ago, there was only QLD that required $38,000 dollars as a visa requirement for state sponsorship.
bensdad
We put down our asserts including unsold houses and signed the form and sent it back. When we moved the houses were still unsold. I think the only time it would get questioned is if you went to centre link for a handout and claimed to have no money. Loving Fremantle!

mrdavies1981
Just out of interest, I had them get in contact to say the app was incomplete as for a family of four they would expect between $35 and $40k of liquid funds.
gmarko
Same case here. I asked them if funds must be liquid, and the answer was yes. Even a car that can be easily sold cannot be counted...meaning cash on account is needed.
Bridgeman
Does anyone know if WA ask for proof of funds. How did you supply this? Did you send copies of bank statements etc?
bensdad
No they don't ask you for proof like other states. Unless they have changed their procedures this year.
