vixxy666 Posted January 21, 2012 Share Posted January 21, 2012 Hi Im moving to Rockhampton area June time and wondered if anyone has any advise on chemical jobs for the mining sector or in Gladstone, looking on the usual sites seek etc, but wanted to just send my cv to all the big companies, would be willing to do FIFO or commute to gladstone. Eera Posted January 22, 2012 Share Posted January 22, 2012 Mines don't usually have resident chemists (met a few mettalurgists but not really the same thing). It's consultancies like SGS, ALS and whoever does the coal perography and gas analysis (Geogas is one) who drive out and gather up the samples and analyse back at base.
