Guest The Pom Queen
There are quite a few posts at the moment where members feel alone and depressed, although as members we will support you emotionally 100% with lots of virtual hugs, please remember we are not professionals. I thought it may be a good idea to post some links to other support networks: http://www.beyondblue.org.au http://www.depression.com.au http://www.blackdoginstitute.org.au/public/depression/treatments/self-helpalternatetherapies.cfm http://au.reachout.com http://www.suicidepreventionaust.org http://www.lifeline.org.au
Petals
Kate has given some good sites and also if cash is tight in Victoria visit the Community Health Centres, they have experienced psychologists, groups etc and the cost is minimal $5 and if you are very strapped zilch. I was involved in a group at our local Community Health and it was the best thing I ever did as you look around at all these ordinary people with you, no horns on the head, just average Jo and Joanna and you know you are not alone.
