We book our flights for may 2012 and we want validate and settle in that same time, is that ok for them or we have to validate then move to Aus.??? Ken
You can do both at the same time. There's nothing special about validating - it's just that you have to enter Australia by a date specified when your visa is issued (generally one year after the earlier of your police checks or your medicals). For those people who can't move in that short a time scale a special trip to validate is required. If you are going to settle straight away and so are travelling on one way tickets with an unvalidated visa special fares and extra luggage allowances are available to you. Killie
Thanks for info We already book the flights with BA, they seem very good with excess baggage , that's we choose them. Thanks again
