Hi There Our Baby was born on 25/8/12(spent 7 weeks abroad with us), and soon we would like to aplly for 887 (from 475) , do our son also have to live in Oz for two years like us , or not? thx in advance

Hi There Congrats I never been there as we live in Wagga, our neighbour and other people was saying Griffith is a nice place to live , so i would think it must be , but it all depends from taste, but will c , all the best .

International driving permit, needed or not?

Many many thanks p.s is that true if someone is having driving licence less than 3 years( my wife) , when replacing driving licence to theirs , is needed to pass the tests again , as they treat it as provisional licence, We are on 475 visa? -
Hi there So, we are moving there very soon , and we were looking for a one way rentals to (wagga wagga is our destination but is 500km from sydney) , any companys recomended??? , very please, or maybe there is any option to travel 500 km without a car? We will be very grateful for any advice. D&A :policeman:

NickyNook-Thanks Social work/healthcare-that's my field , but will do anything where i can get decent money, Riverina gave me sponsorship, so we have to live in that area, i also was thinking about Wagga as it looks as obvious choice cos is biggest there. any other thoughts???

Hi Dear Poms members , We are moving to the Riverina region in may, and we would like to ask for a advice , if there there is anyone from that area and could help us choose best place to move ,we can choose between Wagga Wagga City, Griffith City, Leeton, Cootamundra, Narrandera, Hay, Gundagai, Temora, Lockhart, Junee, Coolamon, Murrumbidgee and Carrathool. I know ot is dump question , but i ask just in case. We book our flights for may 2012 and we want validate and settle in that same time, is that ok for them or we have to validate then move to Aus.??? Cheers D&A

no,it is saying required,but on the previous page/main one- it is saying processed further now i am worried about medicals as they cost a wee bit .do not want spend money if that might be pointless
