BritChickx Posted October 4, 2011 Share Posted October 4, 2011 some cool things to do in Esperance that we did when we were there - Great Ocean Drive - 20 ish km drive along the coast, which lots of great beaches and scenery to look at and explore! Also at the start of the drive there is a lookout called the Rotaty Lookout which is the highest point in Esperance. It gives a good view of the start of the drive/coast. Our Highlight was Twilight Beach, very clear water and cool rocks nearby in the water which you can probably swim to and sunbathe on! -Cape Le Grande National Park- The park is pretty big and has some very long hikes and distances between each attraction! Can easily spend at least a few nights here. We just went for the day and did a few of the shorter walks including Frenchmans Peak, a steep medium to difficult walk up the peak and you go all the way to the top! Might leave you out of breathe lol but well worth it! There was also plenty of beaches to swim and check out and lots of other walks and mountains to trek on!
