nursealli
I am thinking of australia as a place to go and work for a while. I've seen that a migrant (175) visa can be pretty pricey to set up etc...so my question is, as a nurse, can i go on a temporary visa to see if i like living there then apply for permanency if I do? I'm too old for a working holiday visa (i'm 39; and I'd be coming out alone). Any info much appreciated. Thanks.

If you have a good read on this forum you'll see there are plenty of medical professionals who have gone on a 457 so they may be able to advise you on how to find a sponsor.
