Northernpommy Posted September 5, 2011 Share Posted September 5, 2011 We have been living in Melbourne now for 16 months and just getting settled when my husband has been offered a job that hes taken in Perth (on a 457 visa and was made redundant in last job). Dilemma is the boys (14 and 16) are refusing to up sticks and move again, as they are getting settled friendships etc. I love Perth and think its beautiful, whereas the western suburbs of Melbourne (where we live) is a bit hit and miss, we live in a gorgeous area but have to drive through dumpsville to get in to city plus there are a lack of beaches at this side of city. HELP, is there enough to do in Perth for the boys, are there suburbs where they can just call for their teenage friends etc...
