Guest Scotinaus
Hi yes I did this through the British High Commission in Canberra. Expensive though!
Guest DaneD
i looked into this and it costs around $275 to renew if you are in oz. i figured it was better to renew while im still in the uk, but i only had around 12 months left on my old passport. i think they add upto 9 months onto your new passport if you are renewing early. phil
You can do it at Australia Post offices, but it is costly http://auspost.com.au/personal/united-kingdom-british-passports.html
Guest Guest31881
If you live in Australia, UK passports can now only be done through Australian post, they are processed in New Zealand, Costs a lot more than in UK and takes longer. The High Commission in Canberra no longer deal with it.
