gilliantay Posted June 14, 2011 Author Share Posted June 14, 2011 Hi Gill, Wishing you all the best for the future, looks like our trip back in August is still going to be a holiday, just come off the phone to my Dad (lives just outside Edinburgh) and he is still preaching the Doom and Gloom of Scotland, however I am hoping when we come back for a month in August OH may change his mind with a view to returning in the near future, either that or I may change mind about returning???:nah: You know, I was just having a laugh last night about all this doom and gloom....................I honestly think this mindset is built into us from birth and we cannot be seen to say that things are Rosy ! Yes, the country in in a recession but to be perfectly honest with you, things appear no different to me than they did 2.5 years ago when we left. Will not be too long until you return for your holiday - like you say, maybe OH will have a change of heart while here ?
